Rashid Khan threatened not to play in Big Bash

Australia has canceled the ODI series against Rashid Khan in protest against the Taliban’s closure of women’s cricket in Afghanistan. The three-match series was scheduled to be held in March. The Afghan cricketers did not take this decision well. T20 captain Rashid Khan has threatened not to play in the Big Bash League.

Rashid, who has played in the Big Bash since 2017, wrote on Twitter, “Cricket! The country’s only hope. Keep politics away from it. “I’m really disappointed that Australia pulled out of the series against us in March. I am very proud to represent my country. And we have shown great progress on the world stage. Cricket Australia’s decision has postponed our journey. â€?/div>
