Bangladesh women’s cricket team is now staying in Sri Lanka to play three ODI and T20 series. The series will end on May 12. However, Sultana Jyoti of Niger has no chance to rest back home. The red-green team will have to prepare for the series against India after returning to the country’s soil.

The pressure on the Bangladesh men’s team is quite high this year on the occasion of the ODI World Cup. However, the pressure of playing consecutive series is now going to fall on women too. The women’s championship game will begin with the series against India.

The Indian women’s team will visit Bangladesh in June-July to play the series included in the ICC Women’s Championship. Apart from ODI, there is also the T20 series in the bilateral series. The ODI matches of this series will be part of the World Cup qualifying series

Bangladesh’s tour to Sri Lanka has started well. Jyoti had a warm-up match against the SLC President’s XI on Thursday. Jyotira started the tour by winning the unofficial match. The first ODI of the series will be held in Colombo on Saturday.
